Garnel

I've come to the conclusion that Garnel has been commenting on XGH's blog for years using a multitude of different names. As the unofficial "Garnel expert" I do my best to unmask him every time he tries posting under different names. I'm getting really tired of his shenanigans. See some of the comments here, and the later ones here for more.

I think this man is easily the greatest troll in the history of the Jewish internets. He is by far the best at his game, and as far as I know, he's the only one who does it. What I don't know is why you people allow him to get away with this crap for so many years with nary a peep. Sheesh. What I do know is this: if an OTDer tried this shit, he'd be busted in minutes. How could this go on for so many years with NOBODY doing ANYTHING? It's mamish unbelievable.

Garnel has repeatedly said that he loves all the "free advertising" he gains from your blog. Which I believe is true. I wouldn't even know about him unless I investigated what he was all about due to what I see on your blog. Question is do you like giving his blog all this free advertising?

You said you made this blog because you wanted there to be a place for OTDs to commune and prosper. Ok then why not make posts on what you feel are all the problems with OJ. Talk about how the jewish stories were plagarized from the sumerians, babylonians, egyptians, hittites, greeks and so on. Or talk about the hypocrasy you see going on in the frum world. Talk about things that give OTDs a leg to stand on, rather than obsessing over one individual. I just wish you wouldn't let Garnel consume you so much.

Good point. In a perfect world, I'd have nothing to worry about, and could discuss that nonstop. However, the blogosphere has been a pretty f-d up place the last few years, and monsters like Garnel and JP were quietly enabled, if not encouraged, and I suffered majorly because of that. Now I'm just doing my share to clean up the blogosphere from this nonsense. Also, I've decided not to write any serious posts the next month or two for a variety of reasons, and this is the kind of thing I can do without too much effort. Anyway, I'm not really sure why you mind if I trash him.

I don't much care so I can't say for sure if you're right about Garnel and his many aliases. However, you do come off as a paranoid crazy person whenever you mention him. I strongly suggest moving on.
